Why not make a more dressed look with these elastic pants?

They are these kinds of items that since they were on trend, they are still in our daily outfits despite the weather. It is a super comfortable garment and you can use them with different methods, whether informal or with a more elegant attire. Of course, they can´t be missed in our closet.

They don’t only shape the legs like skinny jeans, but they are equally if not more comfortable than pants. They go great with all kinds of clothes and footwear, they adapt to any climate and they give us the security that we need so much in those difficult days of the month.

But like everything in life, it’s not all a bed of roses. Leggings can be a real problem because despite the fact that you are able to use them with any temperature, when it gets very hot they can become suffocating since a lot times its thick fabric overwhelms us, and that is why we must think twice about how we can use them.

Try to find short clothes, so that parts of your body are free and thus you will feel cooler.
Another option is to use light clothing, it can help the air flow through your body.
Try to wear leggings in lighter shades, because the black color soaks up more heat.

You can exploit your leggings to wear tops, that way your torso will be uncovered and fresher, but because few curvy women dare to use tops, I recommend lighter and shorter blouses to balance the body temperature.

If you only have the typical black leggings, use them with white clothes, to give them that extra touch, the contrast between the hottest and the coolest color.
The key (like with everything) is in the balance.

LEGGINGS CAN BE ALSO DRESSED UP

Summer is the time for little clothes, loose dresses, shorts, thin straps (…) but when we feel like none of those options, and a jean is not elastic enough for us, we can always resort to our beloved legging.

Although we associate it with daily looks or teenagers, you must not use them only with t-shirts or flats; you can break schemes dressing them with high heeled sandals to go out for a drink with your partner or friends. Don’t you stall yourselves in the loops that the fashion world creates; you must be the ones who decide how to dress by choosing the best without giving up anything.

This week has been somewhat complicated for some health issues and I didn’t have enough time to prepare a post like you deserve, but next week I promise to bring surprises and something that you will love.

This week’s outfit is very simple; some basic leggings from Calzedonia (all year), an oversize bodice with double fabric from ZARA WOMAN (new and now on sale for 12.95 €), it helps us to be chilly on those windy and warm days. The top is made of fine wool, ideal if you are the type of person who is always cold, and the bottom is made of a super fine cotton fabric that helps the air flow. The amazing pink velvet sandals with a chunky glitter heel are from Stradivarius (new and now on sale for 15.95€).
