It’s “candy” time

Look

Together with pink, blue is another color of this season. We will see it a lot, and not buying anything with these colors is inevitable. One of the virtues of being able to wear them is that they are very flattering on any skin tone and you can wear them both day and night.

The “candy” blue provides sweetness to our spring wardrobe, and welcomes the “Pre-Summer” season with open arms.

Candy or baby blue hides under this title, that crystalline tone that fits us so well and that has set out to provide sweetness to summer and cross the “Pre-Spring” frontier to take over summer as well. We associate it with freshness, calm or quietness, that is why it has become a staple in the more serene and refined looks. This summer we will find it in its total version, crowning outfits from head to toe, but also melted with prints, embellished with embroidery and going into autumn garments.

LONG LIVE THE BLUE SHIRT

Like those jeans that fit us curvy girls so well, the trench that protects us on those more cool days, or those pleated trousers that have saved our lives on more than one occasion, the blue shirt is a timeless basic in our wardrobe, ones whose key style points depend on the personality of each one and the effect we want to achieve with it.

Dressing them in “oversize” style over some “slim or ripped jeans”, for example, we will get a casual and trendy look. Whereas when we pair it with a pantsuit and stiletto heels, we will be the perfect “working girl”. Off the shoulder, combined and retro styles complete the fetching bets of the street style I will show you each week.

In today’s outfit we transform the blue shirt into a mini dress with open cuff sleeves, a precious detail that turns a classic outfit into a more chic one.

Pairing these soft colors with stronger ones is necessary?

On fashion nothing is mandatory. If we have clear which are the basic golden rules in regards of fashion, the rest will go smoothly. Even so, we must combine accessories and dress as we see fit. You can bet on sticking colors to break the “working girl” outfit and transform it on different “street styles” depending on the time of the day.

In this case, I have opted for a baby blue dress from Zara Woman, tights from CALZEDONIA and ankle boots from Michael Kors.
The bag is the center of attention, its eclectic and warm color provides a lot of light and it’s perfect for daytime. Its amplitude is ideal for those who need space to fit all their essentials. (Michael Kors).

Like I always tell you, try to risk and wear something you never though you would; either a color or a fabric. You may be surprised.
I hope you like this week’s proposal and that you have a wonderful weekend.
Meanwhile, dress with color and live with a lot of love.
