I can’t wait to show you this outfit, and is no wonder; the shoulders are going to be the protagonists this summer, but this time leaving the short sleeves and thin straps aside, and surrendering to two cuts that are as different as original. The Bardot (also known as of-the-shoulder) and halter (totally nineties) necklines are going to rule this season, and they are pure essence.
On many occasions, the name of a trend becomes its most reliable and eloquent letter of presentation, wanting to be as identifying and descriptive as possible. Well, the Bardot neckline gets back the best of the sixties and its name comes from the Muse of the French cinema of the time, Brigitte Bardot.
Her incredible sensuality and the tops that drove anybody crazy. It promises at least, to reveal itself as the most feminine and seductive there is. The Bardot neckline in particular is characterized by making women’s shoulders into a weapon of seduction, and it has set itself out to give a privileged situation to that part of our anatomy, one that until now we tended to neglect.
