Like I told you before, this season there are colors that are going to be part of our wardrobe.
Between the most outstanding ones are rose (above all fuchsia), baby colors and striking ones, repeating with mustard yellow and green from the last Spring/Summer season, among others.
Who would have told me that I was going to wear yellow?
It always has been a color a little bit eccentric for my taste and, despite working on the fashion world; I have always had pretty similar tastes, without wanting to go out of my comfort zone. But in reality, when you try changing and risking, you discover a world of possibilities that can also make you feel comfortable.
How many times have we heard that yellow brings bad luck?
We often we run into myths and legends about the things we should wear. Luck is not tied to a color or a specific garment, so we must leave those absurd fears that limit us when we have to make certain decisions.
The garments that we are going to wear must be useful and comfortable, keeping in mind also which colors fit us better and don’t make us look like walking icing.
In the entertainment industry, wearing this color was unthinkable, because they said it was bad luck, but nowadays a lot of actresses or singers have broken the curse and risked wearing it, ending the never confirmed cliché like that.In my opinion, if we use contrasts correctly, we can get an incredible, good and carefree look.
On the 90” it was easy to see contrasts between colors and prints (something I abhor deeply on some things, but that doesn’t look that bad on others) and superposing certain designs over others on a regular basis.
Today’s outfit is different than all I have done until now, but I’m sure that more than one of you will like it. Using a dress or a garment with a particular design and mixing it with a different one may look strange. If mixing designs is not your thing, I suggest you do like me and try soft and not very striking prints with others that make a difference.
Why choose a skater cut and a boat neckline?
Garments with this type of cut, optically narrows our hips and makes us look thinner, it provides us with comfort because it doesn’t stick to the body, and that way we feel more secure while we walk.
