Surrender to the flower power

Look

One of the most classic prints is making this summer time something important, covering all garments with large or small floral prints.

Few women can resist the charm of such versatile garments. In its most sophisticated version, in mini or maxi format, embroidered, tropical, romantic or in Liberty version, garments with this pattern flourish more strongly than ever before.

And we can’t get bored; the freshness, elegance and femininity that this print brings, as well as the ease to combine it, to adapt it to any style, and the truth is that the flowers brighten any look. An example of this is its protagonism season after season, like last winter, when coats and dresses in noble fabrics were covered with this classic that blooms and surprises each year.

I often hear that long dresses are not made for fat or shot people. Well, we shouldn’t let anybody impose absurd “rules” when it comes to dressing, we must wear whatever we want, being true to our style.

What is the problem if we are fat or we don’t have a stylized body to put what we want?

Girls, wake up! It is you who must feel at ease when looking in the mirror, you are the ones who wear the heels for hours, who put on makeup because you like to look groomed or because you want to go natural. Society dictates that a woman who does not wear makeup is rough and boring and the ones who wear it in excess want to cover imperfections and disguise themselves as someone else. Stop it!

Many times we let ourselves be carried away by foreign thoughts so much that we put away our essence. The important thing in all this is how you feel inside, what you want to transmit and accept that nothing will change in two days if we do not put a stop to it. This is extensible to any areas of your life and when you come to understand it you will be completely liberated.

In my case, you know that my passion are the dresses. I repeat constantly that, besides being very comfortable, I feel very feminine. It is one of those summer garments that never cease to be fashionable and with which I can be myself, makeup or no make-up, with heels or sneakers.

My body and with it my imperfections, will look better or worse depending on which garments use but it is in me to want to prioritize my style and my taste, not any comment on whether I should emphasize my curves or not.

I recognize that I am not happy with my body, that my illness has destroyed me physically and psychologically, but I have never allowed that to tear me down. I am strong, tenacious and persevering and I understand more than anyone the meaning of having been in both sides. To be a conventional model and move to a large size changes your perspective in many circumstances completely, but that should not be the cause of frustration and fear. Fear makes us stronger and if I cheated death on two occasions … accepting, valuing and fighting for our integrity is a piece of cake.

I will support and applaud every moment of my life those who fight and make the body something secondary, giving importance to health even if our scale puts more weight than established.
This is why this week I bring you this Outfit, a total feminine and versatile street style, which can be used in both short and chubby girls. The dress stops just above the ankles and does not make you look so short, so you are able to wear these garments despite the height, the close fitting in the waist, helps to lengthen the legs and slimming us optically.

The dress is amazing and you can find it in ZARA WOMAN (new) but you will also find similar styles in ASOS or Violeta by MANGO. The incredible earrings are from MANGO. To prioritize the pattern I used a pair of heels in a pastel tone from BLANCO (old) that harmonize the look. However, you can combine it like you want to, and turn it into a day or night garment with a more delicate and romantic model in Chiffon, open or in pastel shades. There is no doubt that these two are great and different proposals, and equally stylish and elegant to wear this summer.

I hope you enjoyed it and that you have a great weekend.

Until next week, and meanwhile, dress with color and live with a lot of love.
