Important dates

Like every year red, black and gold are the key colors in these special days.

For me these days are very important. They make me relive my sweetest childhood. It’s a time to give love and affection, to give presents, to wrap and put big bows on them, to see the surprise on the face of our loved ones, to reunite with them in front of the table and give thanks for having each other.

Whilst it is true that Christmas fashion is not really a trend and that it doesn’t follow a specific esthetic form, the more bright and colorful the better.

I love Christmas sweaters, full of ornaments and glitter, to decorate the house as if it were a film set, to drink hot chocolate with my famous gingerbread cookies ( recipe on my blog), the lights, the wool hats, the maxi-scarves, the gloves (…) and a thousand more things.

Given that my wardrobe is huge and I would saturate you with millions of pictures if different styles, for this Christmas Eve I have chosen an outfit that won’t leave you indifferent.

Why choose velvet?

The star fabric fot the 2017 winter will be velvet. But this year has been definitely the fabric of autumn.

It dresses the fabrics, making them more sophisticated, soft and wintery, and gives us elegance without having to prepare in excess. It’s perfect for the night or for a party.

The dress that I have chosen flatters any shape because it has a skater cut, and even if it doesn’t have sewing under the bust, his flared cut gives mobility to the fabric and refines us, concealing the belly.

It’s super easy to combine; from a fur vest, a more dresses coat or a black leather jacket. In this case I have decided to add some translucent black polka dot tights from Calzedonia. On very cold days it will look amazing with a wool hat or beanie and short gloves, some ankle boots or even some above the knee high boots.

It all depends on the moment of the day.
