Color mix

Look

Who imposes what colors must go together?

What makes a particular chromatic mixture seem inspiring, only acceptable or directly the biggest mistake in the world to us?

You can answer these questions from a lot of points of view, but above all it can all be answered from an absolutely subjective point of view.

And our favorite should be the one that makes us feel pretty. Black and White go together beautifully, nobody doubts that, but there are other less unanimous combinations that depend on the capacity of each person to force different mixtures and believe in them. Think of icons as Iris Apfel, Anna Piaggi or Jenna Lyons. All of them have shown that any color is perfectly possible if done with sense, with charismatic garments and with certain details that unify and harmonize that kind of temporary madness in Technicolor.

Like I told you some weeks ago, fuchsia was going to be a firm trend, but I have to add that it doesn’t come alone. We can clearly affirm that those fashionable colors are pink and red and they come together by the hand.

Normally, we are not used to seeing this combination, although it started in the 70’s.

How many times have we heard that pink and red are impossible to combine?

An unwritten rule in the world of fashion, a latent ban in our subconscious that this spring wants to break the rules. And it is that, without a doubt, the most wanted combo of colors this season will be the one formed by pink and red. Besides it will not be any shade of pink, seeing as I have been warning you that it will be fuchsia, without a doubt.

A conjunction previously thought impossible, and that we have already seen in the galleries of Street Style of the best weeks of fashion and put on mannequins in the most “in” stores. But if you’re still reluctant about this conjunction, I recommend you to start slowly. You can start by introducing, through accessories, small red details in a total look in any type of rose. Although the best way to take advantage of it will be with the color block technique.

Divide your look into two parts, top and bottom, and dress each of them a different color. This block mixture of red and pink will give as a result an outstanding styling for spring and you’ll be the center of attention.

Fashion is passion, fashion is pure feeling and you may be introverted or not, I encourage you to break with that barrier that stops you and jump in parachute letting you fall into the color. It is not bad to draw attention, it is not wrong to want to attract looks, it is not wrong to want to feel free, sexy and feminine. Think about yourselves, about what you want to untie, think about gaining security, about living without fear. Believe and fight for your happiness.

The Outfit that I have chosen for today is not a color block because I preferred to go slowly and show you a fresh outfit with a floral print, but I have added some heels on a similar orange/red tone that look great.

The fuchsia jeans are from ZARALove your curves” (new) and the blouse is from ZARA WOMAN (new), it is available up to the XL size , and it is Oversize so it can be perfectly fit someone who uses a 48 EU size.

I hope that you have enjoyed this one more week and that you continue working both in your interior and exterior.

Meanwhile, dress with color and live with a lot of love.
