At this point in winter, we are fed up with the same coats over and over again, and we are missing ideas on what to wear and how to pair it, trying to use them in a casual way and also on a more dressed up way.

It is necessary to have a lot of coats and different garments?

Not everybody has the money they would like to buy coats on different styles and colors, so we must improvise and give a different touch to our outfits.

The “Street style” comes to our rescue with great ideas for outfits with amazing coats, to show them on your work or on the weekends.

We are talking about a garment that can’t be absent in your wardrobe, the ones in camel color (Post https://janireazkueta.com/bienvenido-2017/), in gray color (you will see them in future outfits), capes and long vests.
We have the habit of spending hundreds of Euros on clothes that end up on our wardrobe without being used, only because we don’t ask ourselves if they are a necessity or not. The absurd consumerism, and the need to be up to date, drives us to a continuous loop of unnecessary purchases, when our ancestors used to wear used clothes that were being washed over and over again, leaving as star garment, the clothes they wore on Sundays.

We should become aware of what we need and what we are going to use, because more than 40% of our garments end up in a container whit the tag on, or having been used twice. Buy what is necessary; spoiling yourself is good, but you should try to keep in mind how often you will wear it and if it is worth it.
Sometimes we like something but we aren’t completely convinced, we buy it thinking that when we arrive home we will like it better, and we are wrong, because it ends up being a “I will wear it another day” garment, and we leave it aside because it makes us feel uncomfortable.

What coats must we choose?
Gray and camel coats are the more versatile ones, and the pair beautifully with neutral colors, like black, and when we don’t know what to wear they are the first option.

As usual, rain is pretty common in the north, therefore, rain boots are a sure hit, and if the weather is nice we can take advantage of it to wear sneakers.

As for the military green coats, they are a star trend since last season. They are garments that are timeless, and the designs with the hood lined with eye-catching colors, achieve a totally chic styles’.

For this week’s outfit I have chosen the classic military green coat from ZARA (old), super cozy for very cold days, with some navy blue jeans from www.asos.com, super comfortable and a sky blue blouse with a Mao neckline from Stradivarius. Some sneakers for a daily look and as an accessory, a pastel blue bag from Michael Kors.
